- This book is beautifully written and illustrated. The author takes you through steps of doubt, anger, healing and life over the Rainbow Bridge while dealing with the loss of a beloved pet. She does it in such a way that is easy for readers to comprehend and parents would be able to read to young ones with a little explanation. While the story is sad at times, it has a happy and beautiful ending, making it a great read.
It is my opinion that the book can be a soothing perspective for those dealing with loss of a beloved pet.
I truly loved the story and the amazing illustrations. This is a wonderful book. - I purchased this book because my dog (Andy), my grandchildren and I are in the book. But I love this book because Suzy did an excellent job creating all the images of pets, that their owners loved so much, that have passed on. She did this with love and compassion. So I see these adorable drawings as more than a storybook to help children with the loss of their pet. It is a book filled with love. â¤
