- Love it! People like Mr. Guzmán make me feel proud of being a Latina. I am very happy to know that there are many Hispanics wanting to improve, and above all in being better human beings.
This book talks about the reality in which we live in; not everything is beautiful. Sometimes, behind a smile we can find a lot of sadness.
The author acquired my attention to keep me active in continuing to read the book. Very well done! A Hispanic pride!
The author also seems to be a person who could write some good fiction. He should try to write a book of fiction in the near future, I'm sure it would be fascinating. - Una historia personal muy bien redactada, con muchas paisajes chistosos. El estilo de como el autor narra su propia historia es muy entretenida.
Es muy admirable como el autor describe paisajes de su infancia a veces muy cruda pero que finalmente logra describirla de forma divertida. Esa parte deben leerla porque entenderan mucho de lo que le sucede al autor mas adelante.
Gracias buen libro. - Having read both the Spanish and English versions, I must admit I was very impressed with the penmanship of the Spanish version. Both are very good reads but I love the Spanish version better.
